Our Impact

Thanks to the generosity of our funders, we can continue to support local Creativity, provide access to incredible arts experiences to everyone in the Community, and recognise Clare’s rich culture of arts.

glór provided work to 56 artists during lockdown 2020.

Our online performance series were viewed over 73,000 during 2020.

1,800 schoolchildren were able to attend a performance at glór at a reduced cost thanks to our GASP programme (2019).

In 2019 glór worked with 54 different community organisations.

The total digital impact from glór’s Beat Your Drum, Cruinniú na nÓg 2021, from workshop participation, TikTok engagement, and over 63,000 views of the finale video.

What glór means to our Communities, Artists and Partners:

“Barefield National School enjoys a strong link with glór for over 10 years in staging our most enjoyable annual Spring School concerts. The most helpful and caring staff always ensure magnificent performances annually.  It is a great honour for our pupils to have access to this national theatre in our home town of Ennis.”
John Burns, Principal
Barefield National School

‘glór is such a valuable asset in ensuring that Druid can continue to create innovative work to be seen all over the country. It is wonderful to have a world class venue based in Clare.’
