Call for short films from Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway from young film makers. 

Deadline for application is 6pm, Friday 21st October

This year, glór is delighted to platform filmmakers under 35 as part of its Autumn Films series. In conjunction with the Young Curators programme, adjudicator Pete Moles will choose 4-6 films under 20 minutes in length for a public screening to take place on Wednesday 23 November. The selected filmmakers will be invited to attend a Q&A after the screening and they will each be paid an honorarium of €150 for their work.

glór welcomes submissions from:

  • filmmakers from Clare, Limerick, Tipperary or Galway 
  • filmmakers living in one of these counties
  • And submissions of films which have been shot in these counties

Pete Moles – Adjudicator
Pete Moles is a producer and film educator based in Limerick City. He is the Artistic Director of Emerging Limerick Filmmakers, the coordinator of the Youth Film Network for Young Irish Filmmakers and has produced short films with a regional focus. He has worked for Fresh International Film Festival, Richard Harris Film Festival and Fastnet Film Festival. He has recently produced the short films A Stone Place (2022), First Date (2022) and Imbas Forosnai (2021). Pete holds a Masters Degree in Film Studies and is passionate about supporting opportunities to build a culture of film in Ireland.
