Big people, step aside – the smallies are taking over!
For one very special day, glór belongs to our littlest visitors, with music, movement, making, stories, sensory play and plenty of opportunities to get stuck in.
Pick up a Creative Explorer Pass and roam at your own pace through a building full of things to discover:
• The Big Draw – grab a paint stick and help create one GIANT work of art.
• The Flower Shop – pick it, bunch it, wrap it! Our colourful flower shop is open for tiny florists.
• Mini Makers – colour, stick, build and create something completely your own.
• Sensory Wonderland – a gentle world of sights, sounds and textures, especially for babies and younger toddlers.
• Little Book Nook – cosy up and enjoy a tale or two.
• Big Box Shuffle – big boxes, little people! Push, pull and move them around our spaces.
• Toddler Trad – shake, tap and dance along to live traditional Irish music made especially for little ears.
And when you’ve explored every corner, join our gloriously silly Great Toddler Parade through glór before hitting the dance floor for a Big Little Disco for little movers aged 3–5.

Tiny Trebles led by Katharina Baker
Katharina Baker has lived in Germany, Sweden and Ireland and embraced all the musical influences coming her way. It was during her time in Sweden, now over 30 years ago, she first discovered the joy of music-making with the youngest. ‘Musiklekis’ is a Swedish concept where rhymes, songs, dances and rhythm play forms a most enjoyable music session for toddlers and their parents. Having worked with this approach in Sweden for almost a decade, Katharina brought it along with her to Ireland and has enjoyed holding Toddler Tunes sessions for the past 20 years in Coole Music in Gort.
Katharina is the founder/director of Coole Music & Arts and also enjoys composing music, teaching violin, viola and orchestra, playing in various ensembles and presenting workshops in chamber music.
Build it and Little Senses led by Anne Cradden
Anne Cradden graduated with BA in Fine Art from IADT in Dun Laoghaire in 2005. Her work in sculpture and drawing focuses on material concerns and the experience of three dimensions, and more recently on how making and playing with material and architectural things can create stories. Over the past few years, she has become passionate about arts education, and has made working with children in a range of cultural and educational settings the heart of her practice.
