Tiny Teacups Theatre come to glór with a series of bite sized art talks. This, the third talk in the series celebrates the pop art movement. Delivered by writer and performer Carol O’Neill these tiny talks are hugely engaging and informative.
Pop Art! This art talk celebrates an art movement that began in the 1950’s and flourished in the ’60’s. Artists rebelled against traditional forms of art and drew inspiration from everyday objects like soup cans, comic strips and Hollywood icons. Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Pauline Boty, Richard Hamilton, Corita Kent the Pop art nun! Robert Ballagh and more are celebrated in this art talk about the movement that is now one the most recognisable and loved art forms today.
