WhistleBlast presents a multimedia performance of a fantastic and famous symphonic classic plus other great repertoire to give young secondary school students an introduction to incredibly moving composed live music in a highly accessible concert. Art and music join with slide imagery and a screened shadow puppet accompaniment.
Music will include Stravinsky’s Petruška, Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf and Kurt Weill songs.

WhistleBlast has devised extensive, unique outreach and performance programmes facilitating young people and wider communities to engage positively with best quality live music. Inclusion, integration of mainstream and special needs sectors and fun are the aim! The focus of our work is to provide excellent interactive experiences of live music for everybody and families of all backgrounds to continue as, or become future audiences & performers. Quartet repertoire can be enjoyed by all ages and demographics. WhistleBlast has huge experience in creating and delivering programming since 2006 and is proud to be funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.
