Friends, Niamh O’Dea (flute) & AnneMarie McCormack (fiddle) have been playing music together for many years entertaining audiences with their lively exciting rhythmic style, driven from their true friendship and gregarious spirits
Niamh, from Ballynacally, was the driving force behind the Tulla Road Céilí Band for a number of years. Kilfenora born AnneMarie is one of the original members of the current manifestation of the Kilfenora Ceili Band.
Both hold 3 in a row Ireland winning medals with the Ennis and Kilfenora Ceili bands.
The Burren Trio consist of Hugh Connolly (Violin), Tom Murphy (Viola) and Michael Hennessy (Piano).
Kate Daly hails from Doolin, Co. Clare and is a singer of traditional folk songs and has classical vocal training.
Currently undertaking an arts practice PhD at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance (IWAMD), University of Limerick, in 2010, Kate completed her B.A in Arts; Music (performance) & English from NUI Maynooth, and an M.A in Community Music at the IWAMD in 2020.
Kate is currently Engagement Officer with Sing Ireland; the national organization for the support, development and promotion of group singing in Ireland, and she works as a group singing facilitator on their Song Seeking programme¸ providing access to musical and creative opportunities for people living in temporary accommodation with bimonthly sessions at Glór.
Kate is musical director with the Lismorahaun Singers choir and is a group singing facilitator for projects with schools, participants with a disability, festival song circles, and people in addiction recovery across Co. Clare. Kate performs regularly with Mná, a singing quartet, alongside Kathleen Malone, Theresa Garrihy and Katie Theasby.
