glór and Music Network are delighted to present the RESONATE Musician in Residence Concert 2023.
Join glór’s RESONATE Artist in Residence 2023 Zoé Basha for an evening of music developed by Zoé along with her collaborators composer and performer, Anna Mullarkey, fiddle player, Erin Hennessey and vocalist and percussionist, Hannah Hiemstra. These traditional songs and original compositions will explore the blending of airs of Irish traditional song, the rhythm and harmonies of Occitan polyphonic singing, and the sway and singing technique of Appalachian ballads with stylistic elements of jazz and Piedmont blues.
