LASTA – A National Arts Programme for young people by young people │ June 11 to 20 2021
In a new innovative approach to programming, twenty-one young curators have been engaged by the Nasc venues to programme a festival of work for children and young people from 11 to 20 June 2021, delivering for the first time, a national arts programme curated entirely by young people.
Influenced is a podcast show created and run by Paul Ryder, performer, creative director and TV Personality.
The objective of Influenced is to go behind the phone camera, the social media accounts, to speak directly to the people who have built themselves from nothing. Bedroom bad asses turned billboard bosses. Influenced finds out the truth behind the followers, highs, lows and all in between of building your future.
In this exclusive episode created in collaboration with the Lasta Festival, glór, Ennis & Dunamaise Theatre, Portlaoise, Paul chats to Irish Actor, Writer & Comedian Maeve Higgins. Higgins was a principal actor and writer of the RTÉ production Naked Camera, as well as for her own show Maeve Higgins’ Fancy Vittles. She wrote for The Irish Times and produces radio documentaries. She previously appeared on The Ray D’Arcy Show on Today FM. Higgins also appeared in her first starring film role in the 2019 Irish comedy Extra Ordinary.
This exclusive Interview will be available wherever you get your podcasts from June 16th @ 7PM. An Audio version & Video version of this conversation will be released, designed to be listened or watched on your way to work, school, to wind down or however you enjoy your podcasts.
