The Latchikos are fronted by well known storyteller and musician Aindrias de Staic on fiddle and vocals. Spanish multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Gonzalez on Guitar and Mayo Percussionist Domnic Keogh on bodhrán and percussion. They will be joined especially for Culture Night by special guest dancer Siobhan Butler.
Last year Aindrias received a grant form the Arts Council to explore rythym in new irish storytelling and some of this new work may be showcased on the night – watch out Culture Night Ennis.
The Latchiko’s blend a raw mix of Virtuoso violin, spoken word and raw driving Gaelic beats with humour and gusto, so don’t miss this rare chance to catch Aindrias and the Latchikos in their first gig back since the lockdown.
