Steo Wall and Sara Ryan bring Culture Night in glór to a breath-taking close with Sara’s smooth but soulful vocal styling, supported by beautifully crafted melodies, together with Steo’s unique musical style, with a mix of spoken word and folk inspired melodies all woven to an acoustic groove.

Steo Wall is an emerging talent on the Irish music scene, a striking wordsmith with a unique musical style. His live sets have been described as pure alchemy. Steo has an eclectic taste to his music which shines through the multi-genre array of songs at his disposal. With a mix of spoken word and folk inspired melodies all woven to an acoustic groove, Steo is bringing something new, fresh and exciting. From a young age he was always fascinated with poetry and melody and loved to bend words to his will. 7 years ago Dublin born Steo packed a bag and headed out West to immerse himself in the vibrant local music scene of North Clare.

Hailing out of Newbridge, County Kildare and now singing out of Cork City, Sara Ryan, armed with her lyrical blend of emotional honesty, self-awareness and societal reflection, driven by a perceptive and rebellious spirit, is forging a path every music loving ear throughout Ireland.
Sara’s soft and smooth but soulful vocal styling, supported by beautifully crafted melodies, invites the listener to stay tuned for the electrifying sound and next insightful rhyme.

Welcome to Culture Night
Culture is catching with venues and public spaces across the island of Ireland as they open their doors to host a programme of free entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, heritage and culture. Returning for its fourteenth year, Culture Night 2019 will take place on Fri Sep 20th.

glór presents a great programme of events for Culture Night, including work by Performance Artist Rachel Macmanus, a screening of the acclaimed new film At Eternity’s Gate exploring the life of tortured artist Vincent Van Gogh, and a breath-taking close to Culture Night at glór with a late night foyer gig by Sara Ryan and Steo Wall.
