Peter and the Wolf is full of enchanting melodies and rich textures, topped off with Prokofiev’s colourful orchestration. This much-loved gem is a universally familiar tale, suitable for children but also a sophisticated piece of music that will appeal to any age. The tale of Peter will be narrated by the Trio while playing.
Including an educational introduction to the music and the instruments, (violin, accordion and double-bass), and a post-show Q&A.
