The Clare Arts Office Embrace for Arts and People with Disabilities programmes presents its annual Embrace Exhibition at glór theatre from Wednesday 18th May. The exhibition runs until Saturday 18th June.
The Embrace Programme for Arts and People with Disabilities is a scheme run by Clare County Arts Office and provides opportunities for individuals to engage with a wide range of art forms. It is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
This year’s Embrace exhibition will be launched by our Embrace Associate Artists, Fionn and Jonathan Angus of Fionnathan Productions.
The Embrace exhibition features a stunning array of beautiful paintings, drawings, mosaics, sculpture and video works created by the talented artists who participant on the Embrace programme throughout the year.
The launch will be followed by ’’ Hooley’’ a music and dance event with MC’s Massive Ambitions and DJ Little Help and also feature Ali Ahmed who will perform a Rap that he composed with the support of artist John Lillis.
Our MC’s invite you to wear your most outrageous frock, comfortable dance shoes or bring a cushion for your wheel chair, you’ll want to move to these tunes!
Everyone is welcome to attend this celebratory creative event.
