glór places great importance on the health and safety of our staff, audiences, participants and performers. We continue to monitor news updates and measures to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases.
glór’s programme of events continues as normal. We are conscious that people may be nervous about attending and we are following official advice. Events are currently proceeding as planned. We encourage audiences to check official websites, as we are doing, to see about precautions that they can take, particularly around handwashing, cough etiquette and avoiding physical contact where possible.
With that in mind and in the context of the ongoing spread of the Covid-19 virus we would ask anyone considering visiting to please not attend the theatre if you feel unwell with symptoms of COVID-19 or if in the last 14 days you have: travelled to Ireland from an area with presumed ongoing community transmission of COVID-19 or been in contact with a person who has COVID-19. Please also give consideration to attending if you are an individual considered high risk.
Up-to-date information from the HSE on the Coronavirus is available here
We will continue to monitor the situation and will adhere to any recommendations issued by the HSE and/or the National Public Health Emergency Team, and in the event that advice indicates that we need to change our current position, we will notify those booked into our events.
glór’s box office, café and office remain open, and available to offer our services as normal.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration on this matter.
